Ryan Kent's representatives don't believe any club will stump up the cash Liverpool want for him this summer.
And they still expect a loan move to be the most likely option for the winger this summer - according to a report.
The 22-year-old is still wanted by Rangers after impressing so much last season but that deal looked over when Jurgen Klopp made it clear he only wanted a sale.
But while it might be what Liverpool want for the youngster, those close to him expect to see him leave Anfield on loan, according to Leeds Live.

Leeds are also interested in signing him but are unable to splash the fee Liverpool want due to financial fair play rules.
It means that a loan may be used by the Reds in a bid to keep him playing first team football and allow his value to at least stay the same for next summer.
That would leave Steven Gerrard with a chance of getting him again with Kent keen on a return to Ibrox after his year at the club last time around.
Rangers also have the added bonus of the window closing on September 2, almost a full month after the English deadline.
The Ibrox club are still on the lookout for another winger despite signing Jordan Jones, Greg Stewart and Jake Hastie over the summer.
They also sold Daniel Candeias while they want rid of Eros Grezda on a permanent deal and are looking for a loan switch for Glenn Middleton.
