Ryan Kent has lost his appeal against a two-match ban following an incident with Celtic skipper Scott Brown.
The winger was cited by the SFA for violent conduct as the on-loan Liverpool star appeared to strike the Hoops captain after James Forrest scored a late winner against the Ibrox club.
Rangers decided to appeal the sentence but the governing body has upheld their initial decision. Kent will now miss the game against Motherwell at the weekend and the first game after the split.
Steven Gerrard said earlier today that he didn't believe the incident was of a violent nature and that Kent was just "pushing him away to get him out of his face after he was provoked."

This will come as a huge blow to the Ibrox side after Alfredo Morelos was sent off in the Old Firm derby after clashing with Brown.
Brown also faces a ban for his Rangers and Celtic charged by SFA as Steven Gerrard and Scott Brown face bans at the full-time whistle and an angry exchange with Andy Halliday.
Gerrard has been rapped with a one-match suspension for his post-match comments about referee Bobby Madden, while both clubs have been charged for failing to control their players and staff after the final whistle.
