Ryan Jack injury update as Rangers star tells fans 'all focus on 56'

Rangers star Ryan Jack has revealed he underwent a successful operation on Wednesday and is now focused on retaining the title next season.

The midfielder has had an injury hit campaign but still impressed when he was fit and available and it has been a huge blow to club and country when he's been injured.

He's already been ruled out of the European Championships with Scotland and hasn't played since February, but is now focused on getting back to full fitness for the new campaign.

And he sent a message to supporters to tell them he'd be back soon and is determined to lift the league title again next season for it to be '56'.

The midfielder has been a vital part of Steven Gerrard's team since the Liverpool legend took over and Jack provided an update on his injury on his Instagram account.

He posted: "Morning teddys, just letting everyone know I had a successful operation yesterday morning and I’m now on the road to recovery.

"Can’t wait to be back for the start of next season and getting back doing what I love. Thanks to everyone for the messages it’s much appreciated. All focus now is on 56!"

Jack has made just 25 appearances in all competitions for Rangers this season with a series of calf injuries leaving him out of action.

He was sent to London to see a specialist and then undergo an operation to solve the problem.
