Rangers midfielder Ryan Jack has pulled out of Scotland squad due to injury.
The 29-year-old was named in Steve Clarke 's squad for games against against Austria, Israel and the Faroe Islands.
Jack has not made an appearance for his club since the 4-1 win over Dundee United last month.
He could not make the Europa League games against Royal Antwerp, Slavia Prague or the derby day draw with Celtic.
Scotland assistant Steven Reid confirmed that talks would be taking place with Jack and Rangers ahead of the game against Austria this Thursday.
He has not been forced to withdraw from the squad due to the on-going calf issue.
At this stage there has been no update on if Steve Clarke will look to add another player to the squad to replace Jack during the triple header.
