Ryan Jack in long awaited Rangers return hint as star's muddy boots snap builds comeback hype

Ryan Jack has offered Rangers fans hope of an imminent return after posting a picture of his muddy boots on Instagram.

The Gers midfielder has been out of action since February, when he last featured in a 4-1 win over Dundee United.

Steven Gerrard' s men have been without Jack due to a calf injury, which also forced him out of Scotland's historic EURO 2020 campaign.

Jack shared a photo on Instagram, with the caption "nothing feels better this" accompanied by music from Khalid's song 'Better'.

The 29-year-old had previously shared an image of his boots with the caption 'soon' with an egg-timer and football emoji.

Jack's return will be welcome news for Steven Gerrard as Ryan Kent is set to be out until after the international break due to a hamstring injury sustained during the Europa League clash with Lyon at Ibrox.

Last month, Gerrard said: “Ryan Jack is due back on the training pitch any day now and hopefully we'll get him back with the group in a couple of weeks."
