Ryan Giggs has outlined how he has imitated Liverpool's set-up during his ongoing spell as Wales boss.
The Manchester United legend made a record 48 appearances in the North-West derby against the Anfield club in his playing days.
But as a manager, Giggs has looked past the bitter rivalry between the two sides to learn from Liverpool's attacking system.
Under Reds boss Jurgen Klopp, wingers Sadio Mane and Mohamed Salah and striker Roberto Firmino rarely occupy the same position for the whole match.
Instead, the trio rotate roles and try to flummox defences with their constant movement off the ball.

And Giggs confirmed he has shown his Wales squad footage of Mane, Salah and Firmino and mimicked their tactics in the past.
“We show different teams, whether it be league teams, international teams, to visualise what we’re looking for,” Giggs told The Athletic.
“Not massive. It would be a couple of clips. ‘This is what we want.’ The same principles, just a little tweak.
“Against Croatia we tried Harry (Wilson) in that false nine position, so a bit like Liverpool, Firmino dropping.
"(Gareth) Bale and DJ (Daniel James) would be the likes of Mane and Salah, that sort of position. It didn’t quite work.”
In the Euro 2020 qualifier last October, Wales held Croatia to a 1-1 draw thanks to Bale's equaliser late in the first half.
Liverpool's Wilson, who has spent the season on loan at Bournemouth, came on in the second half as Giggs trialled the new system.
The 23-year-old was given the challenging task of replicating Firmino's deeper striking role but failed to make an impact as the tie ended all square in Cardiff.
Giggs took over as Wales boss in January 2018 after Chris Coleman left his role to manage Sunderland.
Wales secured qualification for Euro 2020 with a 2-0 win over Hungary last November.
