Ryan Giggs will stand aside from Wales' three matches this month following claims he assaulted his girlfriend.
WalesOnline understands Giggs will be given what is being termed 'special leave' for the looming fixtures with the USA, Ireland and Finland.
Giggs will be temporarily replaced at the helm by former Wales defender Robert Page, a member of his backroom team. Giggs' Dutch number two Albert Stuivenberg is also on hand to help out.
The FA of Wales held urgent top level talks on Tuesday morning after what had been claimed about their manager overnight, so they could decide upon a suitable course of action.
Giggs was due to meet the media to name his squad for the autumn matches against USA, Ireland and Finland, but that press conference was cancelled.

Their main focus for the time being are the looming matches, given the close proximity of them, and who takes charge of the team.
Wales and Manchester United legend Giggs has been arrested on suspicion of assaulting his girlfriend, with the Sun newspaper saying police were called to his home on Sunday night after receiving reports of a disturbance.

Giggs has denied the claims being made against him and his agent says he is "cooperating with the police and will continue to assist them with their ongoing investigations."
Wales meet the USA in a friendly to be played in Swansea on Thursday week.
They then have Cardiff City Stadium UEFA Nations League clashes with Ireland the following Sunday and Finland three days after.
Unbeaten Wales top their group, having won three out of four matches and are yet to concede a goal.
Under Giggs' stewardship the Dragons have not lost in their last 10 competitive matches, in doing so qualifying for the Euros as well as being on the brink of reaching the top tier of the Nations League.
Their only reverse during that run was a 3-0 friendly defeat to England at Wembley last month.
With Giggs moving aside for the time being, the onus will be upon Page and Stuivenberg to maintain that run and get Wales over the Nations League finishing line.
