Ryan Gauld makes Rangers prediction for Braga clash as playmaker shares Portuguese inside knowledge

Braga are in for a tough time at Ibrox tonight - according to former Dundee United wonderkid Ryan Gauld.

The Portuguese side take on Rangers in the first leg of their Europa League last 32 tie this evening, having beaten league leaders Benfica at the weekend.

Manager Steven Gerrard insists his side are underdogs but Gauld reckons their impressive results against Porto show just what Rangers can do.

He told Bola Branca: "They drew at the Dragao and won at home.

"They defend very well and have a lot of quality. It's very difficult for any team to go to Ibrox and I think Rangers will go through.

"The stadium will be full with around 50,000 fans and it will be very difficult for Braga."

The former Hibs loanee also pinpointed who he sees as the danger men in Steven Gerrard's side.

"Ryan Kent and Alfredo Morelos are the players who make the difference in the Rangers team.

"The midfield is strong too but those two stand out.

"I think Braga are in good form but that atmosphere in Scotland helps Rangers a lot.

"I know it will be different here. Over there Rangers will win, here I don't know what will happen."
