All eyes have been fixated on Newcastle United's incoming business and the exciting pursuit of AC Milan's Sandro Tonali - but there is sudden movement in the departure department with Ryan Fraser poised to say goodbye to St James' Park.
The winger, who was recently exiled to the under-21 setup, is being used as a makeweight in Newcastle's pursuit of Southampton defender Tino Livramento this summer. The Magpies are keen to land the 20-year-old but are yet to agree a price with the south coast outfit.
Fraser almost joined Southampton back in January before a move failed to materialise. This time around there is confidence a deal can be struck which will see the 29-year-old's three-year association with Newcastle come to an end.

Fraser's demotion earlier this year has done little for his reputation but including him as a sweetener in a deal for Livramento is smart business by Newcastle, who are hoping to get fringe players on excessive wages off the books. Fraser won't be the last out of favour player to bid farewell to Tyneside this summer as Newcastle get to work balancing Howe's squad out.
Movement is expected on Karl Darlow's future in the coming days with the goalkeeper attracting serious interest from the Championship. Hull City are keen to keep the shot-stopper on a permanent deal, while Blackburn Rovers and Middlesbrough have also been linked.
Jeff Hendrick and Isaac Hayden both recently returned to the north east after loan spells in the second tier but both men have no future at Newcastle and will be moved on this summer. Hendrick won't be joining Reading permanently, while Hayden's agreement to join Norwich collapsed after the club failed to gain promotion.
Javier Manquillo and Jamal Lewis are two full-backs who are also facing uncertain futures after limited game time under Howe. Manquillo has been linked with a La Liga return, with many believing a move to Rafa Benitez's Celta Vigo would suit all parties. Howe has tried to give Lewis time to fight his way into first-team contention but his injury history makes for poor reading.
Two senior players closer to the starting XI, who could make way between now and September, are Martin Dubravka and Jamaal Lascelles. The former jumped ship last summer only to return to Tyneside months later. As for Lascelles, the Newcastle skipper has been perfectly happy fighting for first-team minutes but could be moved on if Howe purchases an extra centre-back this summer.
Allan Saint-Maximin is the biggest Newcastle name facing an uncertain future. The Frenchman was once the main man in black and white but has struggled with injuries and consistency in recent months.
