Ryan Fraser eyed by West Ham but Aberdeen face multi-million pound transfer heartache

Scotland star Ryan Fraser is wanted by West Ham in the summer – but Aberdeen won’t see a penny of any move.

The Dons inserted a massive 20 per cent sell-on clause into his contract when he was sold to Bournemouth for just £450,000 seven years ago.

Pittodrie chiefs were close to banking around £6million when he was interesting the likes of Arsenal last summer in a potential £30m deal.

But Aberdeen won’t bank a single pound should the winger move in the next window as he will be out of contract.

Moyes is an admirer of his fellow Scot (STUART ROBINSON)

The 25-year-old Scot is being chased by a number of clubs who see him as a bargain, report our friends at The Mirror.

Fraser fits the profile of the younger, more mobile player that David Moyes wants to bring to West Ham.

Fraser was one of the standout performers in the top-flight during 2018-19, providing 14 assists from the wing, second only to Chelsea's Eden Hazard.

This season he has been nowhere near as prolific, with just one goal and three assists as Bournemouth fight against relegation.

But he has remained popular and is set to have no shortage of admirers when the campaign comes to an end.
