Ryan Farrag back winning after Spanish showcase

Ryan Farrag returned to winning ways last weekend.

The former European bantamweight champion had been out of action since last October’s defeat at the hands of Sunny Edwards.
Farrag took on the 23-year-old in a challenge for the WBO European super-flyweight crown at York Hall in London and lost by unanimous decision.

But the 31-year-old moved to 20-4 with five quick on Sunday in Spain.

Farrag boxed against Elvis Guillen at Marbella’s Plaza de Toros de Puerto Banus in Andalucia, as part of the supporting cast to Yokasta Valle’s dethroning of IBF minimumweight female world champion Joana Pastrana, outpointing the veteran over six rounds.
