Ryan Farrag back in Spain next month

Ryan Farrag will be back in the ring next month.

The former European bantamweight champion hasn’t boxed since losing to Sunny Edwards last October.

Farrag, who went to Belgium and knocked out Stephane Jamoye to win the blue belt back in 2015, has suffered three losses since the biggest night of his career, including a challenge for the British title against former world champion Ryan Burnett in October 2016.

But the 31-year-old, who now holds a record of 19-4 with five quick, will be looking to get back to winning ways when he fights on August 4 in Spain.

Farrag has been confirmed as an addition to a bill at Marbella’s Plaza de Toros de Puerto Banus in Andalucia and will feature over six rounds.
The card will be topped by a female world title fight as Joana Pastrana defends her IBF minimumweight crown against Yokasta Valle.
