Leeds United youngster Ryan Edmondson drew high praise for Aberdeen boss Derek McInnes after his brace against Hamilton.
The Scottish side claimed an important three points on Tuesday night with a 4-2 victory.
Aberdeen scored all four of their goals inside 31 minutes and a total spell of 17 minutes.
Edmondson added the third and the fourth seven minutes apart to put the game out of sight.
The Leeds youngster has struggled with injuries since moving across the border on loan but will be delighted to get off the mark in his sixth league outing for McInnes side.
The striker was substituted with a minor knock on the 56th minute but Aberdeen will be hopeful that won't rule him out of Sunday's clash with Celtic, who sit only three points ahead of them in the table.
On Edmondson's performance, McInnes delivered a glowing review.
"Very pleased, first-half performance in particular was terrific," he said after the match.
"It was a good array of goals. We got a penalty box goal, a set-play goal, a shot from distance - everything that wasn't there on Saturday.
"We got a set-play goal, which pleased me because we've not had enough of them this season.
"Edmondson getting two goals, for a young boy leading the line, I thought he was terrific and Ferguson - what a goal."
