Ryan Christie in life after Celtic masterclass as Scotland star stands out from Bournemouth crowd

Ryan Christie is fast becoming a fan favourite at Bournemouth as he delivered another dazzling display to earn a win over Sheffield United.

The Scotland star joined the Cherries from Celtic on deadline day and has been slowly introduced to the side by manager Scott Parker.

But he made himself one of the first names on the teamsheet last week when he delivered two stunning assists to help beat Luton.

He was back at it again on Saturday as he played 88 minutes of their hard-fought victory over Sheffield United.

And he once again caught the eye as he delivered a sumptuous cross to Phillip Billing who fired in the winner.

It certainly captured the attention of fans who flocked to Twitter to vote in Bournemouth's 'man of the match' poll.

And while there is still 11 hours left to vote at the time of writing, it's clear who's on track to win as Christie boasts an incredible 63 per cent of the vote ahead of Ben Pearson (26.6%) and Lloyd Kelly (10.5%).

Christie's latest masterclass means Bournemouth sit top of the Championship after 11 games.

And they are the only one of the 42 teams in the entire EFL yet to taste league defeat this season.
