Two men have been rushed to hospital after a disturbance in Rutherglen .
Emergency services raced to Main Street at around 3.30pm on Tuesday afternoon.
One eyewitness said that there were around 30 police officers in the area as they investigated the incident, near Chapman's bar.
The extent of the injuries suffered by both men remains unclear.
Locals report that officers have now closed off King Street while they carry out their investigation.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: “Enquiries are ongoing.”
The Scottish Ambulance Service have been approached for comment.
