Rutherglen Reformer launches Easter bonnet competition, with egg-cellent prizes to give away

Easter bonnet parades are a common fixture in the school calendar.

But with the schools being closed due to the current Covid-19 pandemic,  the Reformer wants to ensure that normal traditions are stuck to during these strange times.

And that’s why we are asking you,  our readers to encourage your youngsters to design their very own Easter bonnet.

We want to fully embrace Easter  and encourage the kids to be as creative as they possibly can to create the perfect Easter bonnet.

And to make sure that egg-cellent efforts are submitted, we have teamed  up with Tesco in Rutherglen who have kindy donated wonderful Easter prizes for the winners of our three categories.

The three categories are: nursery children; primary one to primary three and primary four to primary seven.

Once the wonderful headpiece has been designed, take a picture of  your child sporting their amazing creation and send it in to us at: news@rutherglenreformer.co.uk

Make sure to include your child’s name and age, and a contact number.

Entries can be submitted until 5pm on Easter Monday, April 13.

Winners of each category will be contacted and featured in the Reformer.

Best of luck!
