A frantic search has begun for a young Rutherglen dad who has gone missing in Ibiza.
Johny Doherty has not been seen since Monday and family and friends are increasingly worried for his safety.
Pals travelling with the former Trinity High School pupil say he had no money or phone with him when he was last seen on the holiday island.
They have launched an appeal on Facebook to find him.
Their posts have been shared hundreds of times by friends at home and others in Ibiza.
Friend David Alexzander’s appeal urged holiday makers on the island to help in the search.
His post adds: “Please if anyone in Ibiza has any known whereabouts of Johny Doherty can they contact me ASAP please.”
Stephanie Murphy pleaded: “Please share- Johny has been missing in Ibiza for two days with no phone or money. This is extremely out of character and we are all worried sick.
“If anyone has seen or heard from Johny any info at all please message me.”
