Rutherglen Glencairn aim for pre-season team bonding trip

Rutherglen Glencairn boss Willie Harvey will take his players on a bonding trip to Fort William in July as they prepare for the West of Scotland League season.

Harvey says he will finalise his preparations for the new campaign 'in the next week or two', to work out what they intend to do with regards to recruitment, and arranging pre-season friendlies.

But they will resume training on June 5, for the July 17 kick-off.

Harvey said: "The only game we've got lined up so far is a day-trip out to Fort William.

"We're going to go up there on July 10, we're going to use it as a bonding trip as well.

"We'll go up there and play a game, just have a good day out and get the guys together, so the new players we've brought in get a chance to bond.

"We've basically set a time period over the next week or two to sit down and hopefully finalise what we're doing, players-wise, and move on with games and how many we want to play.

"But we are resuming on June 5, that's when we do start back."
