Ruth Langsford shushed her stunned Eamonn Holmes in tense row on today's This Morning.
The popular This Morning host wanted to move on with the programme - but her husband carried on talking.
After finishing Deirdre Roberts' phone in, Ruth said: "Don't go anywhere. After the break, Bryony is showing you..."
Butting in, fuming Eamonn said: "I was just about to say something."
But Ruth refused to listen to his pleas and insisted they did not have time for Eamonn to say anything else.
The husband and wife duo were both trying to speak at the same time.
But Ruth did not want to cut into their time for the make-up segment coming up after the ad break.
She explained: "We haven't got time darling we're over. I don't want time to lose time on the make-up. How to keep your festive make-up staying put."
Seething Eamonn remained silent when Ruth ended by shushing her man.
As This Morning cut to an ad break, Ruth could be seen chatting away to Deirdre.
But Eamonn did not look happy as he continued to sit in silence.
