Ruth Langsford shows off her glowing skin as she gives herself a facial

Ruth Langsford fully embraced the self care Sunday trend as she gave herself a proper pampering session this weekend.

The Loose Women star, 60, took to her Instagram account on Sunday afternoon to document her facial on her Stories as she showed off her glowing skin.

She went makeup free and got her hair out of her face by using a headband and tying the rest up into a ponytail.

Showing off the products she uses, Ruth massaged in different serums and creams onto her face.

One of the products she used was one from her pal Saira Khan's skincare range.

Ruth said the product "smells SO delicious".

The loyal friend also added a red love heart sticker that read "I miss my friends."

After finishing up her pampering, Ruth treated herself to a big Sunday fry-up.

She had bacon, scrambled eggs, toast and a tomato, and washed it all down with a mug of tea.

Her husband Eamonn Holmes was in the background of her video reading the Sunday newspapers.

Ruth finished her relaxing Sunday off by taking her dog Maggie out on a walk.

Her blissful day off came after Ruth broke down in tears live on Loose Women on Tuesday when she was talking about her mum.

Ruth's elderly mum is in a care home, and therefore the TV presenter hasn't been able to physically hug or touch her during the pandemic.

She said: "I've seen my mum through a window, I phone her all the time, but I haven't physically touched and that’s always a big concern.

"When you talk about human rights, I absolutely understand it from the care home side's point of view. They have such a responsibility, they're caring for very vulnerable, elderly people.

"My mum's care home, they locked down before the official lockdown, they have been incredible."
