Ruth Langsford says she's a 'door slammer' during 'rows' with Eamonn Holmes

The Loose Women panel got candid today as the stars discussed whether it's possible to love someone despite not liking them.

And they seemed in agreement that loving someone, especially in a marriage, doesn't mean you like them all the time.

Ruth Langsford, though she both likes and loves hubby and colleague Eamonn Holmes, she admitted that their occasional tiffs can leave her in a huff.

She told that they tend not to have rows, rather differences in opinion.

And during they're more heated "rows", she become a "door slammer."

Ruth joked: "I thought the glass was going to come out of our kitchen door!"

"We're very good at stomping off," she added, "but for most rows, we just park them."

Despite the odd argument, Ruth and Eamonn boast one of TV's most enviable marriages.

Over the summer, they marked ten years of wedded bliss.

She recently told that she's always made sure Eamonn knew that if he ever strayed or flirted with another woman she would kick him to the kerb.

"If I found out he had cheated that would be the end of our marriage," she bluntly said.

"That would be goodbye. Eamonn always says - not that he's tempted to have an affair, I hasten to add - that if that ever happened and I found out he would hand over all the keys and say, 'I'm off.'

"He knows that even if I tried to forgive and tried to make it work, I'm the type of woman that would bring it up at every opportunity.

"I know I would and he knows I would. I couldn't handle it. It would be hell. I'm quite a jealous person.

"If you're unhappy enough that you want to have an affair, man-up to that and leave your partner, or discuss it."

She also laughed: "Eamonn says he can’t have an affair anyway because everywhere he goes people ask 'where's Ruth?'"
