The This Morning favourite, 60, has finally got her tresses seen to and the results are subtlety stunning.
Although she's been dealing with her untamed locks for months, it didn't stop her from presenting the popular daytime show alongside her husband Eamonn Holmes.
After admitting that she was growing tired of seeing grey hairs appear out of nowhere, Ruth was finally able to treat herself to a new do over the weekend.
The TV presenter was spotted in a casual ensemble outside of her local hairdresser in Weybridge on Saturday.
Showing off her freshly coloured and styled hair, Ruth looked the picture of comfortable as she sported a trendy trench coat while departing the hairdressers.
The star donned a laidback look as she threw on a plain white t-shirt over a pair of high-waisted black trousers.
She finished off her casual-chic ensemble with a pair of trusty black and white trainers.
Meanwhile her oversized leather bag carried all the essentials she needed for her first trip back to the hairdressers.
Ruth oozed confidence as she stepped out of the salon with her fresh new hairdo.
Taking to her Instagram Stories, the telly star posted a video of herself in the chair at the empty hairdresser.
In the quick clip, she told her doting followers: "Yes I'm finally here. Look I'm the only one here at the moment.
"Getting these roots done finally."
Ruth made sure to take every safety precaution necessary as she donned a face mask while the hairdresser tended to her locks.
It comes after the much-loved This Morning presenter announced that she had husband Eamonn will be taking a break from the iconic show.
The dynamic duo shocked viewers on Friday with the news they were taking some time off.
The hosts present the show every Friday, while they take over from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield on weekdays during half terms and school holidays.
Despite this, on last week's show, Eamonn and Ruth suggested they wouldn't be on hosting duties for the next couple of weeks, before returning in the summer.
The reason hasn't been revealed, and it's also not confirmed when they will be back on screen.
This Morning also hasn't revealed who will present the show in their absence.
