Ruth Langsford issues Loose Women warning over Emmerdale spoiler as viewers change channel

Ruth Langsford had viewers changing channels or turning the volume down as she issued a huge spoiler warning for Emmerdale during Monday's show, before fans had the chance to complain.

This Morning star Ruth was at the helm for the ITV talk show's first episode of a new week, with Birds of a Feather legend Linda Robson, Coleen Nolan and Carol McGiffin the panellists who joined her.

And someone else who made an appearance during the hour long programme was Emmerdale actress Lisa Riley, who has once again found herself at the thick of the action in Yorkshire as famous on screen alias Mandy Dingle.

Former Strictly star Lisa joined the Loose Women via video link and, just as the chat was getting going, host Ruth was forced to step in to give a spoiler alert to fans of the much loved soap watching at home, before a clip played out which dropped a storyline bombshell.

Prior to the short video played out on screen, Ruth said: "All you Emmerdale fans, spoiler alert!

"OK, I want to give you time to turn the telly down or look away, because we don't like to spoil it for everyone.

"So this is an exclusive clip from tomorrow's Emmerdale."

After the warning, the clip aired on the show and *SPOILER ALERT* showed Mandy discovering that Vinny, the son of her former boyfriend Paul is actually married to other half Liv.

Lisa even joked that character Mandy's latest storyline was like a 'Loose Women dilemma' as viewers reacted on Twitter.

And, after the show the soap star took to Twitter to post: "So so so lovely being back with the girls on @loosewomen such a beautiful bunch of ladies. Felt like I was going home."
