Ruth Langsford has hinted at an awkward fiasco with This Morning host Phillip Schofield amid ongoing rumours that the pair are involved in a secret feud.
The Loose Women star, 61, appeared to suggest that there were high tensions between the pair when she made a savage comment about a Christmas card as the This Morning presenter welcomed Ruth back to the Loose Women panel during the live show.
On Monday's instalment of the ITV show, Phillip appeared extra chirpy when he appeared on-screen to welcome Ruth back to her Loose Women position after a couple of weeks away.
However, just seconds after receiving a warm welcome back, Ruth appeared to hint at ongoing tensions between the pair as she admitted that she had only ever given Phillip a Christmas card 'once' in all their years working together.

"It's Ruth's turn today," Phillip said, to which Ruth replied: "Yay, my turn. I was just remembering your glitter phobia."
"I remember buying your Christmas card once, only once, which had glitter in," she added as they discussed the topic of sending Christmas cards for the festive season.
Following the bizarre exchange - which didn't go unnoticed by perspective fans - Ruth went on to discuss the topics that were upcoming on Loose Women.
Taking to Twitter, fans shared their reaction after Ruth's 'subtle dig'.

"Subtle dig from Ruth Langsford saying she's only given Phil a Christmas card ONCE," one viewer shared.
"Awkward for Phillip that she called out his fear of glitter lol," another echoed.
"These two can't stand one another," someone else suggested.
Meanwhile a fourth penned: "Phil and Ruth will never send each other Christmas cards again."
The Christmas card fiasco between the pair comes two years after it was revealed that Ruth made an official complaint against Phillip after he 'rudely' interrupted her while she was presenting a preview of Loose Women during an episode of This Morning.
At the time, an ITV source told The Sun: “Ruth and Eamonn both appear to be treated harshly by Phillip. After Phillip literally cut her off in the middle of a sentence on air when she was hosting Loose Women she decided enough was enough."
Tensions between the pair were also visible at the 2020 National Television Awards.
After This Morning was voted Best Live Magazine Show, Phillip was accused of 'hogging' the microphone during his acceptance speech - not allowing Ruth or Eamonn any time to thank their loyal fans.
Following their win, Phillip lovingly put his arm around Ruth on stage, but Phillip's co-presenter bristled right away.
The frosty moment didn't go unnoticed by NTA viewers who picked up on the awkward tension between the pair amid feud rumours.
