Ruth Langsford got to see her mum for her birthday when she visited her in her care home.
The Loose Women host was overjoyed to spend an hour holding her mum Joan's hand after they reunited for the second time in a month.
She didn't get to see her mum for months after care home visitors were banned during the start of the coronavirus pandemic.
But Ruth, who turned 61-years-old on Wednesday, has finally been able to see her mum now they have both been vaccinated and visitors are permitted again.
Taking to her Instagram account on Monday, a delighted Ruth posted a Boomerang of her and her mum.

Though she was wearing a face mask, there was no hiding the huge smile on the telly star's face.
Her mum looked equally happy as the duo sat down together on a sofa.
Ruth captioned the post: 'I got to see my Mumma again.... SO happy!

"Covid test, PPE & only allowed 1hr but it's worth it just to hold her hand.
"Thank you to all the staff for working so hard to make this happen."
She finished the post with the hashtags #mum #carers.

Ruth had previously only been able to keep in touch with her mum by phone and wave at her through a window.
The coronavirus rules meant visitors to care homes were banned, but the rule was recently lifted when cases went down and millions had their vaccinations.
She then visited Joan for the first time in months in early March.

She took a picture of herself and her dog Maggie sitting in a car and waiting for the results of a rapid Covid test to see if she was clear to see her mum.
Later she posted a video showing her mum fussing Maggie, adding: "On #internationalwomensday I got, at last, to spend an hour of it with the most inspirational woman in my life..
"My darling Mum Maggie was SO excited to see her too!"
