Ruth Langsford fumes after catching Coleen Nolan holding hands with husband Eamonn

Ruth Langsford has admitted that she was not happy after spotting husband Eamonn Holmes holding hands with pal Coleen Nolan.

A whole host of the Loose Women stars had been supporting Brenda Edwards as she starred in musical Sister Act in the West End.

Ruth revealed that she had been on a date with Eamonn before attending the musical at an Italian restuarant.

"A little bit of a glass of wine, a bit of hand holding," Ruth teased before pointing her pen at Coleen. "Talking of hand holding, I have a bone to pick with you.

"On the show yesterday, we were talking about holding hands because Justin Timberlake was seen holding hands with a co-star with their fingers entwined, and it led to a big discussion about 'Is that romantic, would you be furious?'

"I wouldn't mind if you linked arms with Eamonn or he was just helping you across the street, like you need to be held..."

Yet Ruth added: "But [I said], 'If I catch you linking fingers - dead to me."

Fellow panelist Janet Street Porter blasted it as "ridiculous" but Ruth continued.

She said: "I walked into the bar last night in the interval and I'm thinking, 'Where's my husband? Where's my husband?'"

Airing a video of Coleen and Eamonn holding hands, Ruth exclaims: "Look, look!"

But Coleen didn't seem too fussed as they all laughed and Janet quipped: "You kept Eamonn from me!"
