Ruth Langsford forced to leave This Morning early

Presenter Ruth Langsford apologised to viewers after she'd to dart off the This Morning set early.

The 59-year-old was hosting Friday's show with her husband Eamonn Holmes but had to rush off to make it to Loose Women in time for the live show.

Ruth was heading over to the Loose Women studio as they mark 20 years on TV.

She said: "Right, I am sorry but I am going to have to go."

Kissing Eamonn goodbye, she added: "I'll see you later."

Ruth has been a regular panelist on Loose Women since 1999, and became an anchor from 2012.

Ruth made the quick dash to be on Loose Women at 12:30pm (ITV)

If you are a fan of the two ITV shows, you can now book a tour of the studios.

The tour was originally running until the end of September but due to its popularity it's been extended until December.

Guests will be able to explore sets, get a sneak-peek of what lies behind and discover how the shows are brought to life and onto their screens.

If you've ever wondered what the sets look like in real life and want to sit in Holly and Phil's seat or see where Lorraine interviews some of the biggest star then now is your chance.

Maura Higgins appears on This Morning

The busy studio produces more than 2000 hours of much-talked about TV a year and you'll get to discover the day-to-day operations and take a selfie or two.

Plus you'll walk down the production corridor which is home to the green rooms, wardrobe departments, make-up areas and production offices.

Pre-sale is now available through Ticketmaster here.
