Ruth Langsford forced to apologise after Joe Swash swears on Loose Women

Ruth Langsford was forced to apologise today as Joe Swash swore live on air during an appearance on Loose Women.

Joe and his partner Stacey were taking part in a DIY challenge as part of the show and Joe let out an expletive when he thought they were in the advert break.

Many viewers took to social media to point out the slip and Ruth Langsford was forced to quickly say sorry as Joe looked red-faced.

Dave said: "Joe swearing is the highlight of this show today."

@itzzzzo said: "Just me or did anyone else hear Joe swear?"

Hana said: "Joe Swash swearing on live tv and seeing Ruth and Eamonn's faces - @StaceySolomon was way too into her flat pack to notice."

Sav said: "LMAOOOOO AT JOE SWASH SWEARING he thought the cameras were off."

And Donna Creighton said: "Haha yes Joe we heard that naughty word haha."

As they returned from the advert break Ruth said: "Joe gets very competitive and you may have heard a naughty word as we went to the advert break, so I'm going to take a point off him for that."

Joe also apologised for his language as Stacey said: "I can't take you anywhere."

*Loose Women continues at 12:30pm on ITV tomorrow
