Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes unrecognisable in early career throwback clips

Loose Women fans were treated to quite the throwbacks on Wednesday, as past clips of both Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford resurfaced.

As they discussed aging on the ITV show, the pair were stunned as producers aired moments from their first TV stints.

Eamonn was just 19 years old in the clip played of him, presenting the latest news updates.

Ruth meanwhile was left red-faced over a clip from her days as a continuity announcer, thought to be from the early 1980s.

She and Eamonn only slightly resembled their appearances now, but fans would be forgiven for not realising it was them.

Eamonn had thick, dark hair, and looked super young as he reported on the latest court news before handing over to the news desk.

He sounded completely different too, with wife Ruth confessing: "You're gorgeous, I love it."

As for Ruth, she was informing the public what they had coming up on the TV, including the news.

She too looked different with a blonde perm, but it was her voice that got her fellow panellists Peter and Emily Andre talking.

They likened her accent to Princess Diana's, with Ruth confessing she had to speak in the Queen's English.

Ruth was in hysterics over her own throwback, stunned that the producers managed to find it.

She proceeded to read the rest of her auto cue in the same voice in homage to her younger days.

Viewers were loving the throwbacks, with one viewer tweeting: "CRIKEY .... She sounded posher than the queen!!!"

Another said: "Watching the clip of you when you were younger you look the spitting image of Kim Cattrall when she was younger."

Loose Women airs weekdays at 12:30pm on ITV.
