This Morning has announced the return of Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes.
The much-loved ITV presenters will be returning to the daytime show next week after being axed from their usual Friday slot. Last year, This Morning announced Alison Hammond and Dermot O'Leary would be taking over the position from January.
Next week, however, Ruth and Eamonn will be returning to the show.
The husband and wife duo will be taking over from Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield for February half term, they will be presenting the show from Monday, February 15 until Friday, February 19.
The news was announced on This Morning this week with a trailer telling viewers about their anticipated return.
Ruth and Eamonn have been a regular fixture on This Morning for 14 years and shared a joint statement on social media about the changes last year.
It read: "It's a changing of the guard on Fridays from January. "We hope you make Alison and Dermot as welcome as you’ve made us over the years. Have a Ball you two!
"It's not Goodbye from us, it's simply Au Revoir until the next half term."
Managing Director, ITV Daytime, Emma Gormley said at the time: "We are delighted that Alison and Dermot will be joining the main presenting family on This Morning.
"Alison has provided some of the most memorable moments on the show in recent times and teamed up with the brilliant Dermot we think they are a great pairing in addition to our fabulous presenting line up of Phillip and Holly and Eamonn and Ruth."
