Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes clash over son: 'It's your fault!'

Ruth Langsford and Eamonn Holmes began This Morning with a bit of a row over their son Jack.

There was a tense atmosphere between the TV hosts today as they began arguing about the teen.

The pair had spoken to brave football-mad Declan, who had been left blind by a deadly infection, and was about to be a mascot an an FA cup game.

They went on to reminisce about their own experience with Jack when he was younger when he had the opportunity to be a mascot for Manchester United .

But things went very wrong after Jack refused to leave the tunnel and began crying.

"I knew he wouldn't do it because you pushed him into it," Ruth pointed out and said that he had just been six.

However Eamonn insisted that he had been seven and that Jack had inherited his "irrational fear" from Ruth.

"You were living vicariously through your son," Ruth pointed out unimpressed.

Meanwhile Eamonn jokingly remarked: "He'll just have to live with the failure."
