A Russian magazine criticised by the country's prosecutor general a week ago for exploiting teenagers' interest in sex and drugs has been closed down. Burda, the German-owned publishers, announced the closure of Cool, citing as its reason the decline in advertising revenues. A spokeswoman for the company, Darya Samsonova, said: "Cool has not been delivering its target revenues for a long time. She also said that a related magazine Cool Girl will be renamed Girl.
