Russian attacks killed six people and wounded 20 in Ukraine's southeastern city of Zaporizhzhia early Tuesday, while strikes on Kyiv triggered fires in the capital, Ukrainian officials said. The latest attacks came as a Ukrainian drone strike killed one person and injured two others in Russia's Voronezh region overnight, according to regional authorities.

Zaporizhzhia regional governor Ivan Fedorov said Russian forces used missiles and aerial bombs in attacks on the city. Pictures posted by Fedorov showed buildings and vehicles ablaze.
Air raid alerts were issued in both Zaporizhzhia and Kyiv. In the Ukrainian capital, the city's military administration said warehouses in a central district caught fire, while one person was reported injured.
Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said medical personnel had been sent to the affected central district. Witnesses quoted by news agency Reuters reported hearing explosions in the capital.
The overnight attacks also killed six people and wounded 16 in the Dnipropetrovsk and Donetsk regions, local authorities said, adding to the casualties from the latest wave of strikes across Ukraine.
The attacks came as the conflict continued to spill across the border, with Russia also reporting casualties and damage following a Ukrainian drone strike in the Voronezh region.
One person was killed and two others injured overnight in the Russian region, while falling drone debris triggered fires at two warehouses belonging to online retailer Wildberries, Voronezh regional governor Alexander Gusev and the company said.
Russia's air defence units, reportedly destroyed 15 drones over Voronezh and five districts in the region, Gusev said on Telegram.
“A drone crash caused fires at two warehouses of a large company. At one facility, the fire has been contained to an area of 16,000 square meters, while at the other, a blaze covering 20,000 square meters is being extinguished. Emergency services are on scene,” Gusev said.
The latest exchanges followed a deadly Ukrainian attack on Monday on the petroleum hub of Nizhnekamsk in Russia's Tatarstan region. Local authorities said 13 people were killed and 78 wounded, making it one of the deadliest attacks in Russia in the four-year-old war.
The Ukrainian military said it had struck an oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk, about 1,200 kilometres from the Ukrainian border. The city has a population of around 240,000.
