A number of Russian investors are interested in a planned initial public offering of Saudi Aramco, Kirill Dmitriev, the chief executive officer of Russian sovereign wealth fund RDIF, told reporters on Monday.
Dmitriev, speaking before Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Saudi Arabia, also said that a global oil output deal between members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and non-OPEC countries would be discussed at talks in Riyadh.
Ahead of his much-anticipated visit to the Kingdom, Putin underscored the important transformation in relations with Saudi Arabia, stressing that his trip will develop them even further.
The Russian leader is set to hold talks with Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz.
This marks Putin’s first visit to the Kingdom in 12 years.
