
Russian gas giant Gazprom said on Wednesday it would form a joint coordination committee with Saudi Aramco.
Gazprom said in a statement that the agreement had been signed at meeting of its chief executive, Alexei Miller, with Saudi Arabia Energy Minister Khalid al-Falih and Saudi Aramco CEO Amin Nasser.
Russia News Agency reported that Energy Minister Alexander Novak will be meeting his Saudi counterpart Khalid al-Falih on April 20.
The Joint OPEC-Non-OPEC Ministerial Monitoring Committee is set to hold a meeting this week in Saudi Arabia. It is expected that Novak will take part in the meeting.
