Russia reports 8,481 new coronavirus cases, 177 deaths

Russia on Wednesday reported 8,481 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, pushing the nationwide tally to 1,176,286.

Authorities said 177 people had died, bringing the official death toll to 20,722.
