Deputy head of the Libyan Presidential Council Abdullah Al-Lafi has discussed with Charge d’Affairs of the Russian Embassy in Libya Jamshid Poltaev the latest developments and the possibility of moving Moscow’s embassy to Tripoli.

Their discussions in Tunis also tackled the Libyan elections set to be held in December, according to a statement issued by the Presidential Council on Tuesday.

The Libyan Foreign Ministry has called on the UN mission and other diplomatic missions to resume their work from the capital.

In a related development, Al-Lafi held talks on Tuesday with Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Libya Jan Vycital.

The Libyan official hoped to boost cooperation between the two sides.
