Russia's outspoken and increasingly popular rap artists are setting off alarm bells in the Kremlin.

After a string of arrests and concert cancellations, President Vladimir Putin recently called for tighter control of rap music.

But over the fear of making it even more popular, he stopped short of calling for an outright ban.
