Russell Wilson throws for 3 TDs, Ryan Fitzpatrick throws 3 INTs in Jets' loss to Seahawks

EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. _ Banged up and bruised, Russell Wilson still made it look easy against the Jets.

The Seahawks quarterback, who has been nursing an MCL sprain, torched the Jets defense for 309 yards and three touchdowns to lead Seattle to a 27-17 win at MetLife Stadium on Sunday.

Tight end Jimmy Graham, who has been dealing with knee and back injuries, had six catches for 113 yards, including a 27-yarder.

A week after throwing a career-worst six interceptions, Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick again derailed his offense with three interceptions, including two in the fourth quarter. Fitzpatrick tested Richard Sherman one too many times and eventually the Seattle cornerback made him pay.

The Jets were trailing 17-10 with 14:30 to go when Sherman intercepted a Fitzpatrick pass intended for Brandon Marshall, who had beat Sherman for a touchdown just before halftime. And from there, things unraveled for the Jets, who fell to 1-3.

Wilson (23-for-32) connected with Graham on a 24-yarder, then hit Paul Richardson on a 27-yard completion with Calvin Pryor in coverage. It didn't take long from there for Christine Michael to catch a short pass from Wilson and lean the football across the goal line for a 6-yard score.

Fitzpatrick (23-for-41, 261 yards, four sacks) compounded things later in the fourth quarter with another interception.

A heads-up play by rookie wide receiver Charone Peake resulted in the Jets' final score, which made it 27-17 with 2:15 to go. After Fitzpatrick fumbled, Peake scooped it up and scampered 42 yards for a touchdown.

Jets right guard Brian Winters (head) and cornerback Darrelle Revis (thigh) were forced out of the game.
