Russell Wilson’s Why Not You Foundation launches campaign for teens

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has stepped up his offseason community activism.

On Wednesday, Wilson and his wife Ciara announced their Why Not You Foundation has paired with the King County Library System, the KCLS Foundation and JPMorgan Chase to launch the “DREAM BIG: Anything is possible” campaign.

The campaign aims to educate teenagers about the numerous resources available through the local King County library systems.

Wilson and Ciara were on hand to kick off the event at the Tukwila Library, unveiling two special-edition library cards, which feature the couple when combined. Local high school students were invited to the festivities.

“Libraries offer you a wide range of opportunities to explore and gain knowledge, which is your power,” Ciara told the teens in attendance. “Knowledge will lead you on your way in life and help you succeed in whatever you choose to do.”

The Wilson and Ciara library cards, designed by local artist Keegan Hall, are available for free through June at all 48 KCLS community libraries and 83 JPMorgan Chase branches across King County, while supplies last.
