Russell Wilson passes Dan Marino’s 2-touchdown game milestone

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has rebounded from his funky post-injury stretch of play and appears to finally be back to close to 100%. Over the last two weeks, Wilson has performed well, answering questions about whether or not he’d begun to decline.

In yesterday’s win over the Texans, Wilson threw for two touchdown passes. That pushed him past Dan Marino in a notable milestone – Wilson now has 89 games of two or more scores in his first decade in the NFL, one more than Marino had. Only Peyton Manning (92) has more.

Wilson has two years remaining on his contract after the end of the 2021 NFL season. Despite persistent trade rumors, Wilson recently said that he’d like to play 20 years with the Seahawks.

Whether that wish comes true or not, there’s no doubting that Wilson has become the best QB in franchise history and one of the game’s top competitors in this era.
