Pro Football Focus is continuing to run through their list of the top 101 NFL players from the 2018 season, and Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson came in at number 42, just one spot behind Packers QB Aaron Rodgers.
Wilson joins two other Seahawks who have already been named; left tackle Duane Brown (78) and receiver Tyler Lockett (84). The list is going off 2018 numbers only, and tries to value each position equally.
Regardless, Wilson checking in at number 42 is pretty eye-opening after he posted a career-high with 35 touchdown passes and just seven interceptions.
Wilson earned an overall grade of 89.2 from Pro Football Focus, and was among the best in the league in multiple categories; including fourth quarter efficiency, under pressure, on play-action passes and throwing the deep ball.
Wilson, Brown and Lockett will likely be joined by at least one, possibly two more teammates as Pro Football Focus continues to release their list day-to-day this week.
