That’s why it’s not hard to imagine Wilson coming back sooner than the usual recovery time after undergoing surgery on his injured finger on Friday. It’s still early in the recovery process. However, the latest reporting indicates a potentially quick turnaround for Wilson rather than the normal 6-8 week window.
According to an early Sunday morning report by Adam Schefter at ESPN, doctors believe that Wilson has a realistic chance to return to the lineup in just four weeks.

That would put Wilson on track to play in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers. It seems that’s the preliminary goal for No. 3. According to a separate report by Ian Rapoport at NFL Network, Wilson is targeting that game for his return.
