Russell Wilson first QB in Seahawks history to throw 200 touchdowns

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson’s 12-yard touchdown pass to Will Dissly was not only Dissly’s second touchdown of the day – it was also the 200th career passing touchdown for Wilson in his career.

Wilson became the fifth fastest player to 200 career passing touchdowns – behind Dan Marino, Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning and Brett Favre.

Additionally, Wilson became the first player to throw for 200 touchdowns and rush for 15 touchdowns within the first eight seasons of their NFL career.

Wilson is continuing to pad his lead as the Seahawks all-time passing leader. He passed Dave Krieg (195) late last year, after passing Matt Hasselbeck (178) earlier in 2018.

The Seahawks got the ball back on an interception by Bradley McDougald, who picked off Steelers backup quarterback Mason Rudolph. Rudolph stepped in for Ben Roethlisberger, who left at halftime with an elbow injury.

The touchdown gave the Seahawks a 14-10 lead early in the third quarter.
