Russell Wilson awkwardly crashed Pete Carroll’s press conference to say that they’re still friends

The past few months for the Seattle Seahawks and their franchise quarterback Russell Wilson have been far from smooth.

What started as reports about Wilson’s frustration about his lack of protection turned into non-committal answers about his Seahawks future and then morphed into actual trade rumors.

Well, now that the dust has appeared to settle with the Seahawks-Wilson drama, Wilson is really trying his best to emphasize that nothing was ever wrong and that all those trade rumors came out of nowhere.

That effort continued on Tuesday with Wilson crashing head coach Pete Carroll’s press conference to announce to the world that they’re still friends.

Between Carroll trying to come up with a joke on the fly and the dude in the Seahawks hat sneaking into the shot, you almost have to appreciate that all this awkwardness was accomplished in seven seconds.

Nothing can go wrong now!

Oh.
