Russell Westbrook and Paul George shoot 16-for-49 in loss to Grizz

The Oklahoma City Thunder seemed to have found their groove after a win over the Toronto Raptors, however, a trip to Memphis brought them back to reality.

Facing a Grizzlies team missing Mike Conley and Avery Bradley, the Thunder stumbled 115-103 on the road to an already eliminated Memphis team.

Paul George had 30 points and 12 rebounds, but he shot 10-for-29 from the floor and Russell Westbrook was 6-for-20 for 16 points.

For those scoring at home, that’s a paltry 16-for-49 (33 percent) from the floor. That won’t cut it on most nights in the NBA.

For coach Billy Donovan, it just shows how inconsistent his team still is after the impressive road win over the Raptors.

The Thunder have now lost five of their past six games and they will host a hungry Indiana Pacers team on Wednesday.

They will need a better shooting night out of their two lead men if they want to have a shot at winning that game.
