Russell Martin has been told he must start coming across stronger in his public appearances as Rangers manager.
Simon Jordan insists the head coach has allowed certain elements of flak to be generated by Gers supporters.
Last night, the former Southampton manager revealed he found it 'sad' to see young fans swearing at him just moments after Max Aarons scored a late winner to seal a first Scottish Premiership victory of the season at Livingston.
Jordan believes Martin hasn't been tough enough with the media since his arrival at Ibrox though, insisting he must deliver more oomph when speaking to help relieve any pressure mounting on his shoulders.

“He has to be a bit stronger in his press conferences," the former Crystal Palace owner said on talkSPORT this morning. "He has to acknowledge the fact that he has to win football matches – 'I have to win football matches and I’m going to win football matches and I’m going to win them in short order'.
“'And if I don’t I understand the consequences of it but I am going to win football matches and I will make the team better and they are going to be a striving force in Scottish football' – that’s what’s got to come out of his mouth.
“Not observing on the fact that a 12-year old kid is sticking two fingers up at him. Unfortunately there will always be people that behave in a fashion.
“The toxicity has been seeded in now and it’s been placed in.
“He has to win football matches and if he doesn’t win football matches, then he loses his job and it’s as simple as that.
“He’s allowed it to get away from him, they’ve had four Scottish Premiership matches where they’ve drawn and lost games and that shouldn’t have been the case against the opposition.
“I understand he’s making a change, I’ve been defending him and I want people to give him an opportunity to run or fail in equal measure without people forecasting one or the other.
“And I want the owners to be courageous and see what they saw in him and stay with it but if they can’t see it any more, then bin him.
“If he isn’t what they thought he was but don’t lose your nerve lads. If you saw something in the fella, then go the course.
“But he’s got to get his team winning, this is not an option.
“He has allowed the team to drift into a situation and he’s allowed this puerile, offensive behaviour to be seeded in a section of the Rangers fans.
“And now whatever he does he’s never going to get it back from them.”
