Russell Martin has responded to Andy Halliday's criticism of his Rangers tactics, insisting he has 'no problem' with his former teammate.
Halliday made the back pages this week for his analysis of Martin's tactical set-up during Rangers' recent 1-1 draw against Dundee in the Scottish Premiership. He made the comments while appearing on Open Goal.
Martin was asked about the incident during his pre-match press conference to preview tomorrow evening's game at home to Alloa in the Premier Sports Cup.
And the 39-year-old admits he'd love to chat coaching with Andy over a coffee in Glasgow's west end.

"No, I like Andy," he responded when asked if he had a problem with the Motherwell man airing his views. "I regard him as a really good ex-teammate and a good person and I like him.
"So I'm sure at some point we'll have a coffee in the West End and we'll sit down and discuss some. I know he wants to coach at some point.
"But when you work in the media, you have to give an opinion, right? So I've got absolutely no problem with it at all.
"Although I have never said we're going to play with inverted full-backs, so I have told him that."
Halliday's comments read: “Dundee played a 5-4-1, really compact, really tight, really deep and narrow. Rangers went with a flat back four and they had five players attacking eleven players. How are you going to create chances and score goals if you’re five v eleven?
“You would struggle to score against kids in training if you were five v eleven. And do you know what they keep doing because there’s nothing else on? They play a straight pass into Cyriel Dessers and when they lose the ball there’s f***** nobody in the middle of the pitch.
“People talk about Rangers having inverted full backs but that’s a pure myth.”
