Rangers head coach Russell Martin has explained his decision to drop Nicolas Raskin against Club Brugge this evening.
The Belgian midfielder starts on the bench in his homeland despite getting the nod in his side's last two outings.
From last week's 3-1 defeat to Brugge in the first leg of Rangers' Champions League playoff tie, Martin has made two alterations, with Raskin and Mohamed Diomande dropping out for Thelo Aasgard and Lyall Cameron.

He was asked about the alterations by RangersTV pre-match: "We're trying to go as attacking as we possibly can and get as many goals on the pitch as we possibly can," said Martin. "We really like what Thelo has brought to the team, and Lyall deserves to play.
"We've just gone for real energy, real attacking intent, and hopefully it will be enough.
"But the team that starts the game won't be the team that finishes it, so everyone needs to be ready."
Overturn a two-goal deficit tonight, and Rangers will qualify for the Champions League proper for the first time since the 2022/23 campaign. Failure to do so, however, means they will drop down to the Europa League for yet another season.
Rangers XI vs Club Brugge: Butland, Aarons, Souttar, Djiga, Meghoma, Rothwell, Cameron, Aasgaard, Antman, Gassama, Danilo.
Subs: K.Wright, Kelly, Tavernier, Barron, Dessers, Diomande, Fernandez, Raskin, Moore, Gentles, Curtis, Hutton.
