Russell Howard announces SIX Bristol shows - here's how to get tickets

Russell Howard is one of Bristol’s most cherished exports and for good reason.

The comedian, who was born in the city in 1980 and attended the University of the West of England, has become one of the most popular stand-up comics in the UK and is a regular on our TV screens.

But his worldwide appeal means his Bristol shows are few and far between, despite his love for his hometown.

He last performed in Bristol in September for a one-off show to raise funds for the Above & Beyond charity, but demand for tickets was incredibly high which meant lots of people missed out.

In November, Russell Howard announced details of his biggest ever tour to date, the Respite Tour 2019, but sadly it did not include any Bristol dates.

This caused sadness among his huge fan base but today (June 12) he's announced six Bristol shows.

The 39-year-old teased it on his Twitter account on June 10 writing: "I've got some exciting news this week."

When is Russell playing in Bristol?

The six Bristol shows all take place at Bristol Hippodrome and run between June 29 - July 4 2020.
